From Farmington, New Mexico, my family moved to Redondo Beach, California when I was an infant. In 1977, we moved to San Diego. California is the only home I have known.

I have a Real Estate License and Real Estate Certificate. November 2005, I joined Dreamhomes California. January 2002, I graduated from a training academy for Loan Officer training. I have a Bachelors Degree in Communications and an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts .

I am a member of the San Diego Association of Realtors (SDAR), California Association of Realtors (CAR), National Association of Realtors (NAR), and the Web Chamber (Internet Chamber or Commerce). You will find my advertisement in The Christian Times Examiner and in The 2003-2005 Santee Chamber of Commerce Community Directory Yellow Pages, chamber member in 2003.

2005 -  Senior Advantage Real Estate Council (SAREC) and the Lakeside Chamber of Commerce.

I offer Honesty, Integrity and Dedication! I work very hard to acquire the confidence and respect of my clients. I explain the process of selling, and buying. I answer my clients questions. If I do not know the answer, I am diligent to find the answer. I have excellent communication, listening, and negotiating skills.

I provide 'Superior Service' for all of my clients. When working with a seller I am skilled to acquire the highest possible sales price based on comparable sales and the home's condition. When working with a buyer, I put myself in their shoes. I negotiate a fair market price that is acceptable to the seller and the buyer. The buyer should feel they haven't bought a house, but they have bought a home. I have worked with a few clients that lived out of town. The escrows were successfully closed via Federal Express, the internet, and a fax machine.

My goal is to put people at ease. I do not want anyone to have regrets or disappointments upon completion of a transaction. I want to be part of a lasting positive memory. I strive for excellence so I will be remembered for referrals! Be sure to check out my testimonials link.

I regularly visited my mother in a skilled nursing facility until she recently passed away in 2005. My father passed away in 1993.

I have attended meetings for the Huntington Disease Society of America (HDSA) since June 2002. A friend close to me is inflicted with it. It helps me to understand the causes and effects of the disease.

I volunteer for various HDSA functions. I will continue to be available to HDSA in the future. A member of the Huntington's Disease 'Celebration of Hope' Dinner Committee 2004/2005 and volunteer at the 2003-2005  'Celebration of Hope' dinner and auction. I have been a volunteer for three 'Hoop-A-Thons'  Shoot for a Cure events and one 'Casino Night'.  You can learn more about this disease by clicking on
'Favorite Links' - Organizations section. Look for HDSA links.

Currently in my spare time, I volunteer for animal organizations. My heart goes out to stray animals. I have been told I have a gift for working with feral (wild) cats and been called 'the cat whisperer'. I have learned to obtain their trust by way of observation and patience. Over time they have become calm, tame, and loving animals. All the cats I have helped were in horrible condition. Many of them had signs of animal abuse. They all needed medical attention that I provided. All of them were seriously underweight and dehydrated, some had injuries, and a few required dental extractions. To date, I have rescued a total of nine cats. Seven of the cats needed to be spayed or neutered. I have been successful placing many of them into homes. The ones that I could not find a home for were placed into a local cat shelter.

2004/2005, Volunteer for the San Diego Senior Olympics.

March 6, 2005, I volunteered for the Humane Society Telethon on the telephone answering live call in pledges.

Volunteer for The American Red Cross. I got involved in 2003 to assist victims of the SD firestorms. I am still available on a needs basis.

In 2003-2005, volunteer for the Horizon Christian Fellowship Thanksgiving event. At this event, they serve dinners and provide services such as medical exams, haircuts, resume writing, etc. free to the community. Although many attend, it is also an outreach to the homeless. I will be available if contacted for future outreaches.

1990-1994, I was Owner/Producer of a cable program named 'Celebrate San Diego'. It was designed for family viewing. The show consisted of local talent with original songs and skits. Performers included a show host, actors, singers, bands, dancers, etc. I helped write comedy skits, held auditions, reviewed audition tapes and actor photographs. The crew of 12-17 depending on the complexity of the program were volunteers. I will always respect the crew and talent for their professionalism. I will treasure this memory.

I was a Production Assistant on two 'Killer Tomato' movies. I assisted the props department on the 'The Killer Tomatoes Stike Back', and in the production office for 'The Killer Tomatoes Go To France'. An experience both fun and memorable.

I volunteered two years for the local San Diego Emmy Awards. I assisted where needed at some of the planning meetings and at the event. This experience educated me about local issues and the media, not to mention it was a fun and exciting event.

Be sure to contact the Feral Cat Coalition (FCC) at their website or call if you have ferals in your area. One stray and its subsequent litter will produce 420,000 kittens in 6 yrs. FCC does accept donations and they need volunteers.

If you are looking to adopt a cat, I recommend visiting Friends of Cats. It is a 'no-kill' shelter. They usually care for around 300 cats. The Shelter is located in Flinn Springs - east El Cajon. You can visit their website or call . Friends of Cats does accept donations and they need volunteers.
